REGATTA: YACHTING MALTA BSC REGATTA 2025
Hosted by Birżebbuġa Sailing Club, the Yachting Malta BSC Regatta welcomes ILCA and Optimist sailors for four days of exciting racing from 7th to the 10th Of February 2026. The event promises a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, attracting both local and international sailors to the warm waters of Malta’s south coast.
LOCATION: SAILING AROUND MALTA’S SOUTHERN BAY
Birżebbuġa offers ideal sailing conditions throughout the year, with steady winds and mild temperatures even in February. Racing in Marsaxlokk Bay sailing areas provides an enjoyable and tactical experience for sailors of all levels whatever the wind conditions.
VENUE: EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN ONE PLACE
The regatta venue is based at Birżebbuġa Sailing Club, is only 15mins away from the Malta International airport. It is located right by the sea with easy access to the boat park, launching area, and nearby accommodation. The club’s facilities include changing rooms, a race office, and a snack bar offering food and refreshments throughout the event.
Accomodation can be booked at a special price from the event hotel details attached. Many self catering apartments are also available a few meters from the club.
⚓ Special Optimists Charter Offer
We are happy to offer a limited number of FREE optimist boats, including foils, mast, boom and sprit. These are available on a first come first served basis.
Additional boats can be chartered according to availability.
We also offer ILCA boats at a very good charter price according to availability.
⚓ Special Accomodation Rates
We are happy to offer special accomodation rates at the new SAND DUNE HOTEL. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the club and launching area.
